Sometimes you never realize the value of a moment until it becomes a memory, I am a weaver of words , Passionate poet by heart, Corporate Communication Specialist by profession and a firm believer of Carpe Diem. Life happens to me somewhere between Books, travelling, friends and food. These are the four things that truly defines the kind of person I am.
My love for literature started back in school reading Shakespeare, Eliot and Browning which led me to pursue masters in English literature, it is still growing stronger. I find my expressions in writing poems and stories.
Literature taught me that life is a journey and always- “Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”
I am fond of traveling and taking the road less traveled by. However any adventure is incomplete without friends, certainly for me my friends are those rarest gems that I have Collected over the years in my treasure box. I staunchly believe friends who travel together stay together. Last but the indispensable thing about me is Food, I am a big time foodie, as much as I love food I am a passionate cook too. What could be better than having a house party with good food, friends, and laughter, sounds just perfect for me.
Coming from a humble middle class family these are the things that makes me the person I am.

What is poetry to me-

As said by Hemingway, “You simply sit down at the typewriter, open your veins, and bleed”. I think to define is to limit so I can’t really define what is poetry to me. It comes as naturally as leaves to the stem, dews to the petals, mist to the mountains and fragrance to the flowers.

My inclination to poetry stems from the receptiveness to the smallest of the grain. What may seem ordinary to one, might appear the most beautiful to the other. Perception infuses beauty to even the most ordinary of things – this is what I strive to achieve every moment – to understand how ordinary is not ordinary at all.
I vowed for an endless Love for the finest of the literary canons like Keats, Byron , Shelley Wordsworth, Walt Whitman, Pablo Naruda etc. To say the least I don’t really write poetry I wait for it .
